Default Quest reset on your Birthday (sound like something that should be added??)

ok, so you have 1 or all 3 of the current campaigns. And if you are like me, you shot through the storyline of each campaign in less than 2 weeks through leisurely playtime. Then you went back to fully explore most of the lands that you have missed, adding and finishing the various quests that you have found. What happens after all the quests are done?

Perhaps an option can be added into the game that once a year on a characters birthday, you have the option of reseting all the quests so that they can be done again? This reset can be per character per campaign.

Ofcourse, certain quests might not be reset like attribute quests or any quest in Pre-Searing.

But a "once a year quest reset" doesnt sound unreasonable.

You should post this in the Sardelac Sanitarium forum, since that's where ideas of what should be added to the game goes.

Personally I wouldn't want that once in a year quest reset. I would rather just make a new character and play the game all over again with him or her. Actually, I'd just go farming or helping guildies, or going PvP with that char.

Um.. I don't get it. If you want to know the storyline you can just do all the missions+bonuses. The quests don't really add much to the storyline, and there are so many; I don't see why you'd want to complete them twice. I don't think it's something ANet should spend time on, but hey. If you say so.

I'd like to do the winterday quests again. ^^

Actually, no. All 6 of my primary characters have past their 2nd birthday (even got a juggernaut and aaxte). I have plenty of farming spots such as Underworld or a dozens of other places to goto in Hardmode with my 55 monk, Vwk Rit, and earth Ele. Farming is not an issue. I'm actually bored with farming and chest running.

I'm actually one of those types of people who still has an Atari and 8 bit Nintendo hooked up in his home and plays them on occasion. I pop in an old game once in a while to have fun. I'd like to do that with Guild Wars and the quests, except i dont want to have to delete a character slot, nor do i feel like spending money to buy an extra slot, just to enjoy redoing quests.

Also, it would be a nice addition to have a quest logger. Maybe an extra tab in the Quest log that will list off all the quests that you have completed for each campaign. Also, after you have "beaten" the campaign, it will tell you the total number of quests your character has access too so you can compare how many are left over that you might have missed. maybe it could be displayed like 110/120 meaning that the character has access too 120 quests in that campaign and i finished 110 of them, i know there are 10 more out there to find.

could an admin move my post to the proper forum, thx.
